There are many opportunities for children at Northland Baptist Church. For every church-wide service and adult Bible study, there is a corresponding children's activity.

| Sunday School Sunday school is offered for all ages during the first service every Sunday morning. In Sunday School, volunteer teachers strive to help children discover the Jesus found in the Bible in age appropriate ways using multiple sensory experiences leading to the child accepting Christ as their Savior and learning to walk with Him. |
Children's Church Children's church is offered during the second service every Sunday morning for preschool through 1st grade. Children's Church is designed to teach children the Bible while equipping them to become particpants in the main woship service. The volunteer leaders do this through music, crafts, games, and Bible stories. Children's Church is set up to be like a miniature church service for kids. |
TeamKID TeamKID is offered every Sunday evening for children in first through fifth grade. TeamKID brings kids messages from Jesus in an instant message format. Some messages comfort- some messages confront, but they are all the instant messages kids need to hear. During TeamKID, they also play games, sing, memorize scripture, have snacks, and many other fun things kids love. In TeamKID the children also earn points things like attendance, memorizing scripture, participating in service projects, and bringing back their "homework." At the end of the year they are awarded for all of their hard work. TeamKID also has various events throughout the year like game nights, cook outs, pizza parties, and a huge Christmas party. |
TeamKID Missions TeamKID Missions is offered every Wednesday evening in January through July for children in first through fifth grade. TeamKID Missions teaches children about different aspects of missions as well as learning about different missionsaries around the world. During TeamKID, they also play games, sing, memorize scripture, have snacks, and many other fun things kids love. In TeamKID the children also earn points for things like attendance, memorizing scripture, participating in service projects, and bringing back their "homework." At the end of the year they are awarded for all of their hard work. TeamKID Missions also has various mission projects for the kids to paricpate in throughout the year. |

| Jr. TeamKID Jr. TeamKID is offered every Sunday evening for all preschool age children through Kindergarten. Jr. TeamKID strives to help these young children understand basic aspects of our faith through bible stories, games, music, crafts, and snacks. The volunteers strive to teach the children in age appropriate ways that preschoolers can understand and begin to love the same Jesus we do. |
Bible Drill Bible Drill is offered on Sunday afternoons for children in 3rd through 6th grade. Bible Drill teaches children to know how to use their Bible as well as requires them to memorize different parts of the scripture. They do this in a way that challenges the kids, but does not put them in competition against each other. |
Vacation Bible School VBS is offered in the evening for Kindergarten through fifth grade June 14th through the 18th with a parent's night and carnival on the 19th. Vacation Bible School is a week of fun and interactive Bible stories for children. The church is transformed into the theme for the current year and the stories come alive as kids go through music time, crafts, Bible stories, games, and snacks. Every year the kids are challenged to bring loose change from home to raise money for Operation Christmas Child. They are also encouraged to bring friends and pack out the sanctuary every night for the opening time with the pastor. We have seen as many as 200 kids come to Vacation Bible School in past years and we cannot wait to see what this year has in store! |
Mission Friends Missions Friends is offered every Wednesday evening for all preschool children through Kindergarten. The volunteers in mission friends help children develop missions attitudes and concepts, become aware of God's love for all people, realize that others need to hear about Jesus, learn of missions work around the world, and finally the joy of praying for and giving to misisons. These goals are accomplished through hands on activities, Bible thoughts, sensory activites, misisons stories, cultural learning activities, activities to help others, and prayer. They also enjoy snacks and games each week. |
